Wednesday, they found themselves in familiar territory when they traveled to Richfield to take on the Wildcats. While the Wildcats stayed in Region 12, the Spartans moved to Region 13 this season. Richfield jumped out, putting six goals on the board in the first half, taking a 6-1 lead at halftime.
In the second half, the scoring from Richfield settled a bit, but they were still able to score three more, also holding the Lady Spartans off the scoreboard to earn a 9-1 win.
