The Lady Spartans were in Delta to face the Rabbits on Thursday.  The Spartans kept things close in the first set, but the second and third sets were all about the Rabbits as they took the 3-0 win.

Emery opened up the season taking on the South Sevier Rams, and the Spartans pulled away with the 3-0 win. On Thursday, they went on the road for the first time this season to Delta.

The Rabbits are always a tough out, no matter the sport. The two teams locked up on the court, and the first set was the closest as they battled it out, but the Rabbits came away with the 25-23 win.

The second set was all Delta as the Lady Spartans couldn’t find a rhythm and dropped it 25-9. The third was more of the same as Emery found just a couple more points but ultimately fell to Delta 25-11, falling 3-0.

Emery won’t be back on the court until Thursday when they travel to Moab to face the Grand County Red Devils.
