Community comes first at Eastern Utah Community Credit Union. A prime example of this is the credit union’s yearly member appreciation events, which are spread throughout the year. On Friday, Sept. 12, EUCCU will host its annual member appreciation barbecue.

Dalton Bennett from the credit union joined the KOAL newsroom to discuss the event and share details on EUCCU’s current auto loan promotion.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun. There’s going to be a lot of food as well, so come hungry,” said Bennett of the event. “We’re going to be grilling up some hamburgers and hot dogs. I believe we’re going to be giving out some fun giveaways. So spread the word to your friends and all the members out there.”

Bennett also explained how events like these help to promote the credit union’s philosophy of “People Helping People.” “Member service and making sure everyone’s happy and taken care of. That’s what we’re all about.”

EUCCU’s member appreciation barbecue takes place on Friday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the credit union’s Price branch.

Switching gears, Bennett discussed EUCCU’s ongoing auto loan promotion – which offers a 4.99% APR on auto loans on approved credit. “Saving money is our goal for our members. And, for this promotion, it’s to reach people who don’t know about us. You know, we want to try to help them out by saving money and always looking for the best opportunity to do so.”

He continued,” There are qualifications to qualify for this APR. But we’re more than happy to talk to anybody and see what we can do to help.”

Closing our conversation, Bennet stated,” We appreciate everybody’s membership and business that we can handle. We can handle a lot. So we appreciate everybody and their time with us.”

EUCCU’s member appreciation barbecue will be held on Friday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the credit union’s Price branch. For more information on the credit union and the services it offers, visit the business on Facebook or at EUCCU.com.
