
Tuesday, the Lady Dino soccer squad was on the road in Delta to face the Rabbits. Carbon came in riding a two-game winning streak and left Delta on a three-game ride with the 8-1 win.
The Lady Dinos had back-to-back wins over Providence Hall and Richfield as they headed to their match-up with the Rabbits.
Carbon started things off quietly, scoring just a pair of goals in the first half to take a 2-0 lead by halftime, but the second half was another story entirely.
The Lady Dinos came out on fire, finding the back of the net six times to take a comfortable lead after giving up just one goal to the Rabbits and coming away with the 8-1 win.
Malia Smith led the Dinos with a four-goal performance and collected an assist along the way. Saren Nelson had one goal and two assists, and Kayla Jones collected a goal and an assist. Blythe Bradford and Elsie Morley each had one goal. Naomi Smith had three assists and Bailey Johnson one in the Carbon rout.
Madi Barlow in goal collected 10 saves for the Lady Dinos.
Carbon, who sits at 6-2 overall, will be back on the pitch on Thursday when they welcome Canyon View to Price.
