The Lady Dinos made the familiar trip to Richfield to face the Wildcats. As a former member of Region 12, the Dinos and the Wildcats have faced each other many times, but that will change this season. Richfield took the first set of the match, and even though the following two sets were competitive, the Wildcats came away with the win in straight sets.

The Lady Dinos and the Wildcats shared Region 12 for the last few seasons, but with realignment over the summer, the two teams have been split up, with Richfield staying and Carbon moving on to Region 13. Carbon sits at 3-6 overall this season, with conference play just around the corner.

Richfield came out and claimed the win in the battle for the first set by the score of 25-20. Set two was a little bit of a scoring letdown for Carbon as they could only collect 16 points and fell 25-16. The third, and what would be the final set was played the tightest, but the Wildcats took the 27-25 win.

The Lady Dinos will jump into Region 13 play on Thursday, September 11, when they welcome the Union Cougars.
