Beginning on Monday, Sept. 8, the Utah Department of Transportation and Price City will be collaborating on a safety project on the transition between SR-10 and 100 South. The project holds an estimated completion date of Friday, Sept. 19.

“We’ve got an important safety project coming up on SR-10 at 100 South in Price. The transition between SR-10 and 100 South needs some serious help,” reads a social media post from UDOT. “ One of the grates had some temporary plates put on it, but it’s time to fix it right.”

Two roads will see closures from the project, with the northbound lane of SR-10 closed from the post office at 95 South Carbon Avenue to the railroad tracks. Additionally, 100 South will be closed to through access, but open to business access.

“We know this will cause some delays, but these improvements are needed at this time to keep everyone safe,” stated UDOT.

Questions regarding the project can be directed to UDOT’s Wellington Station at 435-299-2927.
