Lady Spartan soccer was back on the field in Castle Dale on Tuesday when the North Sanpete Hawks came to town. Emery has put together some wins this season and seem to be headed in the right direction, but hit a speed bump on Tuesday as the Hawks handed them a 7-0 loss.

Emery has put together a 5-6 overall record this season, but are still searching for that first win in Region 13 play. The Lady Spartans hold the No. 12 spot in the latest rankings from MaxPreps, and are heading into the back half of the season with just seven games left until the playoffs start.

North Sanpete came out on fire, breaking down the Spartan defense and finiding the back of the net seven times and holding the Lady Spartans scoreless throughout to earn a 7-0 win.

Emery will look to regroup as they won’t be back on the pitch until next Tuesday, when they travel to face the Manti Templars.
