It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Tyler who passed away after a lengthy battle with illness on September 15, 2025 at the age of 38.

Tyler was born April 29, 1987 in Price, Utah to Jeffrey and Athena (Marvidikis) Carlile.

We will remember the echo of his loud laugh and giant presence that was unforgettable to anyone who knew him.  Tyler was a man of undying faith and felt respite in the Lord’s Prayer.  He will be remembered forever, missed forever and loved eternally.

I’m following the path God laid for me.

I took his hand when I heard him call,

I turned my back and left it all.

Lift up your hearts and share with me,

God wants me now; He set me free.”

Tyler is survived by his son, Kyson; mother, Athena; sister, Monique (Chris), nephews, Dez and Kendrex; aunts, Stephanie, Sabrina and Shelly; cousins, Caylyne, Stevie and Joshua; and his precious cats, Banchee and Sally.

Preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey; grandparents, Bill and Barbara; uncle, McRay and special family pets including Ella and Thor.

The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter.
