The Lady Spartan soccer team was on the road in Mount Pleasant to face the North Sanpete Hawks. Despite a hat trick from Megan Stilson, the Lady Spartans fell 6-3 to the Hawks.

The Spartans have only a few contests left in the regular season, starting with the match on Tuesday, a non-region tilt with Cottonwood. The season will come to an end on October 10. Emery sits at 4-9 overall and 0-5 in Region 13 play. They also sit at No. 14 in the latest rankings.

On Thursday, North Sanpete came out firing in the first half, finding the back of the net four times. Stilson was able to get one goal for the Lady Spartans as the Hawks took a 4-1 lead into halftime. In the second half, both teams played evenly, with each side scoring two goals, resulting in a 6-3 win for North Sanpete.

Stilson collected all three goals in the contest for the Lady Spartans in the loss.

Emery has three games left in the season, and after being road warriors early in the season, all of them will be played at home, starting on Tuesday when Cottonwood comes to Castle Dale.
