It is with great sorrow that we announce that Guy French Boutchyard Jr., from Mesquite, Nevada, passed away October 4, 2025, after a long battle with dementia.

He was born on March 1, 1950, in Fredericksburg, Virgina to Guy French and Margie Wyatt Boutchyard Sr. He was married to Deb Boutchyard for 35 wonderful years.

Frenchie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Guy proudly served his country in the US Navy in the Vietnam War. Beyond his service Frenchie was known for his warm spirit, his love of golf and his Washington Redskins!

He had a wonderful sense of humor and often filled the room with joy and laughter. “It’s never too hot to golf.”

Frenchie is survived by his loving wife, Deb; son, Tim (Becky); stepchildren, Shane Pessetto and Chanelle Taylor; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Jeffrey and Richard Boutchyard; and sisters, Tina (Stan) Pilkerton and Terri Duboise.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Margie Boutchyard; and sister, Linda Boutchyard.

Those who knew Frenchie will forever carry memories of his funny one liners and all the joy he brought to our lives!

Funeral service, Saturday, October 11, 2025, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah 84501) where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Frenchie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
