Lady Dino volleyball welcomed the No. 1 team in 3A to Price on Tuesday, the North Sanpete Hawks. The Hawks brought their perfect record with them, collecting their 22nd win in a row this season as they closed out Carbon in straight sets.

The Lady Dinos sit at 5-16 overall with a 1-5 mark in Region 13 play. They currently hold the No. 13 spot in the latest rankings.

The Hawks and Dinos came out in the first set, and while Carbon kept it close, North Sanpete took the win 25-16.  In set two, the Lady Dinos were outgunned, falling 25-8. Set three went to the Hawks 25-11 as they closed out Carbon in straight sets.

Carbon will head to Richfield and the Sevier Valley Invitational, which takes place on Friday and Saturday.  Carbon is scheduled to play Canyon View (No.2 3A), North Sevier (No. 7 2A),  South Sevier (No. 10, 2A), and Panguitch (No. 1, 1A) throughout the weekend.

When they return, Carbon will have just a pair of games left. On October 14th, they will celebrate Senior Night as the Lady Spartans come to town for the final regular-season home game. Then the following day, they travel to Manti for the final regular-season contest.
