The Lady Dino soccer squad closed out the regular season with their 13th win in a row and 16th of the season, a 7-0 victory over the North Sanpete Hawks. The Dinos close the regular season with an unblemished record in Region 13.

Carbon finished the regular season with a 16-2 overall mark and an 8-0 conference record and hold the No. 2 ranking in the 3A classification.

The Dinos collected a pair of goals in the first half to carry a 2-0 lead into halftime. Carbon came out and found the back of the net five more times in the second half to close out the Hawks 7-0.

Malia Smith earned another hat trick to take her season total to 43 and 98 points total this season. Bailey Johnson scored one goal and added one assist to bring her total to 19, putting her near the top of all classes throughout the state.

Maggie Truman, Naomi Smith, and Kenzie Morgan each scored one goal, with Morgan adding one assist. Blythe Bradford and Sara Nelson each collected two assists, and Chrissy Jones added one in the win for the Lady Dinos. Madi Barlow collected four saves between the pipes on the way to her ninth shutout of the season.

Carbon finishes the regular season on a 13-game winning streak, and will wait until October 11 when the final rankings will be released by the Utah High School Activities Association on the KSL Sports App at 10 a.m.

If the rankings stay the way they are, the Lady Dinos will face No. 15 Providence Hall in Price on October 15.
