
Jade Sierra Benson, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025. Born on February 23, 2006, Jade’s life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Jade was a devoted mother to her son, Jeremiah Lee Benson, who was the center of her world and brought her immense joy. She graduated from Carbon High School in 2024 and was passionate about basketball, spending countless hours playing the sport she loved. Jade also cherished her time gaming and enjoyed the camaraderie of her close-knit group of friends.
She is survived by her biological parents, Roger Benson (Maleah) and Nicole Torres; adopted parents, Gerald and Norma Korinek; siblings, James Ray Benson, Yvette (Scott) Allen, Joseph Benson, Jeremiah Benson, Eli Torres, Estrella Loveless, Michael (Ashley Brogdon), Daniel (Lauren) Korinek, Buster (Jessica Brogdon), Darrell (Anna) Brogdon, and David (Megan) Korinek. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Joe and Lisa Torres, Marie Yoder; and great-grandmother, Rosie Torres.
Jade was a cherished aunt to Harley Allen, Raiden Allen, Bellazay Allen, Zevin Allen, Evalee Allen, and Tate Allen. She held a special place in her heart for her aunts, Julia Torres and Carmen Torres, who were especially close to her. Jade’s extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins remember her fondly for her kindness, vibrant spirit, and unwavering love.
Though Jade’s time with us was far too short, her impact and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Jade’s life will take place Wednesday, October 22, 2025, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah 84501), where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper, Utah.
