Both Carbon boys’ and girls’ cross country teams earned the title of 2025 Region 13 Champions at the Carbon Country Club Golf Course on Wednesday. Rozlyn Stowe was crowned Region Champion, and Even Criddle was the top finisher for the boys, finishing in fifth.

Manti finished in second behind the Dino boys. Union, North Sanpete, and Emery rounded out the rest of the region at the final competition until the State Championships.

Criddle led the way for the Dinos, who made up the remainder of the top ten. Dallin Humes finished in sixth, Matthew Stromness, Samuel Wilson, and Michael Weber went eighth through tenth place. Seth Jenson (14) and Bracken Hanseon (15) weren’t too far behind the other Carbon runners.

The Lady Dinos earned a Region Championship, followed by the Emery Spartans in second. Union, Manti, and North Sanpete comprised the rest of the field.

Rozlyn Stowe grabbed her third individual Region Championship in four years, finishing with her time of 17:29.7, almost a full twenty seconds ahead of Emery’s Addyson Guymon, who claimed second.  Josie Yates finished in fourth, and Brettlee Kennedy took eighth. Kiley Bishoff (12), Kaylee Pitcher (16), Alexandra Bryner (17), and Alexa Jones (21) made up the field for the Lady Dinos.

The Dinos will have a bit of a breather until the State Championships, which take place on October 29 at Sugarhouse Park.
