The Lady Spartans ended the regular season on October 16 when the No. 1-ranked North Sanpete Hawks came to town, then on Monday, the Utah High School Activities Association released the final rankings for 3A volleyball, along with the bracket for the State Championships.

Emery ended the regular season 9-17 overall and 2-6 in Region 13 play, landing them the No. 15 spot in the final ranking. The last time they were on the court was on October 16 when they faced the North Sanpete Hawks at the Spartan Center. The Hawks handed Emery a 3-0 loss that evening.

The Lady Spartans will begin postseason play on October 27 when they face the No. 2 Canyon View Falcons at 10:30 a.m.. This will be the first time the teams have faced each other this season, with the Falcons staying in Region 12 and Emery making the move to Region 13.

A win will advance the Spartans to take on the winner of the No. 7 Richfield and No. 10 Layton Christian at 1:30 p.m.. A loss and they will face the loser of the same matchup at the same time.

The 3A State Championships will take place starting on Monday, October 27, with all games being played at the Utah Community Credit Union Center on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem. You can follow along with the action on KSLsports.com/stream
