Cleveland Elementary PTO News Release

Cleveland Elementary School is proud to introduce a new student recognition program – the Heart of a Mustang Award, sponsored by the Cleveland Elementary Parent Teacher Organization.

This award will be presented once each quarter to a student who exemplifies what it means to have the Heart of a Mustang: kindness, respect, effort, and a positive attitude. Staff members nominate students for consistently showing compassion toward others and making Cleveland Elementary a great place to learn and grow.

The winner of the Heart of a Mustang Award receives a family photo session with local photographer Shelby Payne, courtesy of the PTO. Each quarter’s winner may also receive an additional special prize – this quarter, that includes free tickets to the upcoming Halloween Carnival!

The very first recipient of the Heart of a Mustang Award is Jonah Eden, son of Tommy and Jen Eden. Jonah is full of life and joy. He loves spending time with his big brothers and is known for his sense of humor and silly antics that bring smiles to everyone around him. Jonah is hardworking, curious and always eager to learn new things. Some of his favorite things include playing video games, watching Spider-Man and enjoying a big bowl of mac and cheese.

Congratulations, Jonah, for being our very first Heart of a Mustang! Your kindness and spirit make Cleveland Elementary proud.
