Joey Ray Birch, 55, passed away October 24, 2025 in Salt Lake City.

He was born April 13, 1970 in Provo, Utah to Robert “Bob” Birch and Louann Jensen.  On November 12, 1993, Joey married Michele Denise Arno in Helper, Utah.

Joey is survived by his wife, Michele Birch, Price; sons, C.J. (Lindsie) Birch, Wellington, James “Tato” (Kaitlyn) Birch, Elmo, Cody (Aubrey) Willis, Price; granddaughter, JoeyRay Birch; brothers and sisters, Robert (Rhonda) Birch, Price, Peggy (Jimmy) Cook, Wellington, Terry (Montie) Birch, Arizona, Lynette Birch, Price, Chris Melo, Altamont; in-laws, Penny Arno, Clifford Arno, Wendy (John) Berryman, Stacy (Frank) Anderson, all of Price; beloved friend, Laurie Bowman; favorite nurse, Diane; and many loving nieces, nephews and community of lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Louann Birch; sisters, Sherry Birch and Lana Jean Passarella; and his beloved “Uncle Jack Birch.”

Funeral service, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to service.  Burial will be in the Elmo Town Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Joey online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
