The winter sports season is upon us. Football and soccer fields, volleyball and tennis courts, and golf and cross country courses will give way to basketball courts, wrestling mats, and the pool. The Dino swim team will get started this weekend as they head to Cedar City for the Cedar Invitational, while other sports will begin in the coming weeks.

The Carbon swim team will hit the pool this Friday and Saturday at the Cedar Invitational in Cedar City. The Divisional round will take place in Richfield on January 23 & 24, with the State Championships taking place at the Sevier Valley Center on February 4 & 5.

The Dino boys’ wrestling team is the final sport to get started, and they will begin their 2025-2026 campaign on December 3 when the Delta Rabbits come to Price. Carbon is a program on the rise with Riker O’Hearon returning as State Champion and three other Dinos earning top ten finishes last season. The Carbon Duals will take place on December 19 & 20.
