
David L. Miller, age 72 passed away on November 10, 2025.
David was born June 4, 1953 in Price, Utah to Robert L. Miller and Clara Clingman Miller. He was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, camping and finding peace in the beauty of nature. Whether he was casting a line, tracking a deer, or sitting around a campfire, David treasured time spent outdoors with family and friends.
David made his career underground in the mines and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He worked for many years at White Oak in Scofield and ending his years of service at Deer Creek in Huntington.
David is survived by wife Arlene Timothy, Price, Utah; children Jeremy (Jennafer) Miller, Spanish Fork, Utah, Rachelle (Brian) Downum, Camas, Washington, Braylan Miller, Castle Dale, Utah; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Cindy (Lynn) O’Neil, Wellington, Utah, Bobbie (Gary) Grako, Wellington, Utah, Brady (Lisa) Miller, Scofield, Utah, Ileen Lowder, Hotchkiss, Colorado, and many cherished nieces and nephews, who will carry his memory in their hearts and in every sunrise over the water, every rustle of the forest, and every spark of a campfire. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Forever part of the great outdoors he loved, David now rests in peace beneath the open sky.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Jade O’Neil.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street ) in Price. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a wildlife conservation group in his memory.
