On Tuesday evening, the Lady Dinos took their show on the road to Draper to take on the American Preparatory Academy Eagles. The Eagles used a 24-point first half to put Carbon on the defensive early, as the Eagles took the 38-17 win.

Carbon sits at 2-5 overall this season, getting wins over San Juan and Grand.

Draper was all over the Lady Dinos in the first as they held Carbon to a pair of points while putting up 11 of their own. In the second quarter, the Lady Dinos were held scoreless while Draper added 13 more to go into the locker room up 24-2.

In the second half, Carbon found some offense. In the third, they put seven points on the board, while the Eagles added nine of their own and still held a 33-9 lead. Moving into the fourth, the Lady Dinos outscored Draper 8-5, but the lead the Eagles had built was too much for Carbon to overcome as they fell 38-17.

Taya Orth and Elsie Morley each scored four for Carbon, while Bailey Johnson and Blythe Bradford both scored three in the loss.

The Lady Dinos will take on Crimson Cliffs on the road on Thursday, then stay in Southern Utah for the weekend for the Canyon View Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
