The Pinnacle Lady Panthers were on the road to face the American Leadership Academy Eagles. The Lady Panthers couldn’t find a rhythm in the contest and fell 44-16, moving to 2-2 on the season.

The Panthers have collected a couple of wins against Merit Prep and Utah Military Academy-Camp Williams.

The Eagles came out taking the lead in the first, putting up 11 while holding the Lady Panthers to just one point.  American Leadership jumped on the Panthers in the second quarter, outscoring them 17-5 and pushing their overall lead to 28-6 at halftime.

Coming out in the third Pinnacle was unable to get things rolling as they were able to only put two points on the board as the Eagles were able to add 12 more points and expand their advantage to 40-8 headed to the final eight minutes. American Leadership called off the dogs in the fourth only scoring four as Pinnacle would double up their score with eight but lost the contest 44-16.

Acacia McLean scored ten for the Lady Panthers, while Taya Romero, Jazmyne Mullis and Regan Cloward each added two in the loss

Pinnacle will be back on the court Saturday when they welcome the Logan Grizzlies to town.
