PRICE, Utah — At a time when many colleges across the nation are experiencing declines in student enrollment, Utah State University Eastern is celebrating a 4.4% increase this fall. This achievement speaks to the exceptional student experience and strong sense of community found on the Price campus.

Students at USU Eastern benefit from small class sizes, hands-on learning opportunities and faculty who are deeply committed to helping them succeed. The campus’s supportive environment, combined with strong academic programs and an engaged student life, continues to attract students from across Utah and beyond.

“Students tell us they feel welcomed and supported here,” said Kristian Olsen, vice president for Statewide Residential Campuses. “They come to USU Eastern because they know they’ll get a high-quality education in a place where people genuinely care about their success. That’s what sets Eastern apart. It’s the connection students feel to their professors, their classmates and the campus community.”

This commitment to providing a personal and transformative educational experience has made USU Eastern a destination for students who want more than just a degree. Whether they’re studying welding or nursing, social work or aviation, students find programs that prepare them for meaningful careers and lives of purpose.

Olsen added that the growth also reflects the combined efforts of the entire campus community.

“Our faculty, staff, and recruitment team all play a vital role in making this success possible,” he said. “It takes everyone working together to create the kind of environment where students feel they belong and where they can truly thrive.”
