Each year, when the holiday season arrives, the team at Castle Country Radio takes the opportunity to bring joy to nursing homes across Carbon and Emery Counties through their Poinsettias of Love tradition.

Traveling to six nursing homes across the Castle Country: Parkdale Health & Rehab, Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Good Life Senior Living & Memory Care in Price and Elmo, Heirloom Assisted Living and San Rafael Health and Rehabilitation, the Poinsettias of Love looks to ensure everyone, no matter what age or condition, gets a gift for Christmas.

“Delivering Poinsettia’s is a highlight each year for all of us at the station,” said News Director Aidan Mortensen. “Being able to interact with all the residents and seeing the smiles on their faces when you bring them a poinsettia is truly magical.”

Marketing consultant Kara Maynes added,” It’s our favorite time of the year, 100%.”

The deliveries got even the youngest members of the Castle Country Radio family involved, including two-year-old Bex, who happily tagged along to spread holiday cheer.
