Ruth Burgess of Price, Utah passed away on January 6, 2026 at Parkdale Health and Rehab at the age of 90.

Ruth was born on April 12, 1935 in the coal camp of National, Utah to Ray and Ora May Allridge Jensen.

Married Harold L. Burgess on November 26, 1954. Ruth was a faithful member of the LDS church. She worked as a seamstress at Koret of California and was known for her sense of humor and love of sports (Utah Jazz, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Vikings).

Ruth is survived by her sister, Melba Nielsen; brother-in-law, LeRoy Stevens; her loving children, Kathy (Paul) Neumeier, Marty Burgess, Cory (Joan) Burgess, and Gary Burgess. She created a beautiful family with many grandchildren: Mitch (Kelle) McKinnon, Quinn (Carli) Neumeier, Amber (Anthony) Orrino, Camron (Samantha) Burgess, Stephan (Jeana) Burgess, Jessica (Marcus) Schultz, and Isaac Burgess and great-grandchildren: Dylan, Roein, Cambri, Fred, Hunter, Aria, and Caden.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold L. Burgess; parents, Ray and Ora Jensen; in-laws, William and Nellie Burgess; brother, Bruce Jensen; and sisters, Shirley Powell and Doris Jean Stevens.

Graveside service, Saturday, January 10, 2026,11:30 a.m., Price City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main St. Price, UT) from 10:00-11:00 a.m., prior to service.
