Carbon County Office of Tourism news release

PRICE, Utah – The Carbon County Office of Tourism, through its Tax Advisory Board, is launching a matching grant program to help event organizers and nonprofits market their events to out-of-area visitors.

The program aims to increase overnight stays, enhance destination awareness, and support growth in Transient Room Tax (TRT) and Restaurant Tax (TRCC) revenues. Funding will prioritize events that demonstrate strong tourism impact, especially those attracting visitors from outside the county.

Applications are now open and close May 1, 2026. The program offers a one-to-one match, with up to $1,500 available per event.
