The Dino boys’ wrestling squad traveled to Morgan on Wednesday to start off a busy week for Carbon. The Dinos earned a win in six matches out of a possible 14, and the Trojans took the 42-33 win.
On Tuesday, Jantz Greenhalgh and Riker O’Hearon came away with two first-place finishes in the Utah All-Star Duals, starting off a hectic week for the Dinos. On Thursday, they will welcome the North Sevier Wolves to Price, and then on Friday and Saturday, they travel to Vernal for the Tournament of Champions.
Greenhalgh picked up where he left off, earning a victory at 106 pounds over Samuel Woolsey by pin. At 113 pounds, Ashdyn Densley took the win by pin over his opponent, Kade Keller, and Kayden Smith took the win by pin over Spencer Phillips at 120 pounds.
In the 132-pound class, Gage Lefler beat Desmond Cadena by pin. O’Hearon made quick work of Dilyn Pentz at 144, and Jack Burdick earned a 7-4 decision over Luke Woolsley to get the victory.
Carbon will be back on the mats tonight to face the North Sevier Wolves.
Matches are set to begin at 5:00 p.m..
