Arthur Harold Enke was born on August 3, 1939, in Sacramento, California to Glenn LaVine Enke and Ruth Eleanor Graham.

He passed away peacefully of natural causes at home on Saturday, January 17, 2026. He was 86.

He lived in Orangeville, Emery County, Utah since the early 1970s and considered this his home and his people.

He is survived by his wife, Pollyanna Ferguson Enke; siblings, Alan Enke, Glenn Enke, and Elizabeth Aagard, and their spouses; children, Bonnie (Chris) Jensen, Gregory Enke, MaryJane Enke, Michael Shawn Enke, Amy Brown, Arthur P. Enke (Heather), Anna Nakai (Randy); 30 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.

Art worked hard and played hard. He worked over the years as an industrial radiographer and in the coal mine. He earned his private pilot’s license and also his instructor certification and enjoyed flying. Art was instrumental in helping start the Emery County Flying Club in Huntington, Utah.

He liked working on car engines and could fix just about anything. He loved camping and fishing with his family. One of his favorite hobbies was working with sound/recording equipment and productions. He was involved with the Emery County Castle Valley Pageant for decades and was an integral part of its support and presentation until it closed in 2019.

Funeral service, Saturday January 24, 2026, 12:00 noon in the Orangeville 2nd Ward Chapel (45 West 100 South, Orangeville, UT 84537). The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank friends, family, community, and ward members for their concern and support.
