Switching ownership from father to son, Southeast Chiropractic reopened its doors on Thursday, Jan. 22, as new owner Russell Terry snipped the ribbon to mark the transition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“We’ve been here in Carbon County now since 1998. Dr. Kelly Terry opened the practice back then, and so we’re carrying on the tradition today,” said Russell Terry at the ceremony. “We’re bringing some new services. So we’ve got decompression therapy, which is a good treatment for disc and nerve injuries. We have deep laser deep tissue laser therapy, which is good for big joints, shoulders, knees and helps with headaches. There are a lot of things we can use it for.”
He continued,” We’ve got corrective traction depending on what type of injuries you’ve got to the spine. And of course, we’re doing the traditional chiropractic adjustments as well. So we can help a lot of different conditions.”
Speaking to Castle Country Radio, Kelly discussed what differentiates Southeast Chiropractic from other practices: “We offer a pretty specific style of corrective treatment called Chiropractic biophysics … Essentially, we’re looking at the shape and function of the spine and how we can correct that to help alleviate spinal issues, so it incorporates not only the adjustments, but also exercises and traction therapy.”
“Give us a call,” said Kelly. “We can even do a free consultation. That way, you can come in. We can talk about what concerns you have, what our options are, and you can make a decision to try us out or not without spending a whole bunch of money.”
Southeast Chiropractic is located at 55 North, 600 East in Price, and is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The office can also be reached by phone at 637-4621.
