The wrestling season came to an end on Wednesday and Thursday in Richfield as the State Championships took place at the Sevier Valley Center. At the end of the two-day event, Madison Arroyo earned the first state championship for the Lady Dinos in the 190-pound class. Six other Lady Dinos finished in the top five.

Arroyo kept up her fantastic season with a state title in the 190-pound class. Rickelle Collins at 155 pounds came in second; Alizah Trostle at 170 pounds, Jenna Pulsipher at 190 pounds, Chloe Parker at 130 pounds, and Bailee Christensen at 140 pounds each finished fourth; Farah Parker took fifth at 135 pounds.

Arroyo went a perfect 3-0, earning her first win over Danyelle Shields of Union by pin, and in her second match, she took on Shalyse Park of Canyon View, winning by default 9-3. In the championship round, she faced Karissah Haymore, also of Canyon View, earning the win by pin as well as taking first place and a State Championship home for the Lady Dinos.

Collins went 2-1 overall, earning her first win over Shelby Sands of Canyon View by pin. In the next round, she defeated Morgan Holdaway of Juab also by pin, and then fell to Nellie Carter of Canyon View in the championship round.

Chloe Parker went 2-2 in the 130-pound class, falling in her final match to Serenitee Bushnell of Canyon View by a 6-2 decision. Christensen went 2-2 at 140 pounds, earning a fourth-place finish, falling in the third-place match to Lyndie Christensen of Juab.

Trostle collected a 2-2 mark at the 170-pound class, wrestling her way to a fourth-place finish, falling in her final match to Caroline Mecum of Grantsville. Pulsipher also finished 2-2, earning a fourth-place finish, falling in her final match to Kira Hart of Grantsville. Farrah Parker at 135 pounds finished the tournament at 2-2, claiming fifth place with her win and her final match over Remington Bird of Union.

Canyon View claimed first place in the overall team competition, followed by Grantsville in 2nd, Juab in 3rd, Union in 4th, and Carbon in 5th.
