The regular season has ended, and it’s time to head into the State Championships. On Saturday morning, both the Lady Dinos and the Lady Spartans found out their fates. The Spartans finished the season ranked No. 3 and will open the postseason at home. The Dinos finished in the No. 10 spot and will be on the road Saturday.

The Spartans finished the regular season with an overall record of 13-9 and earned a second-place finish in Region 13 at 6-2. They will begin the march on Saturday, February 14, at the Spartan Center, where they will welcome the Providence Hall Patriots. The Patriots come in at 6-17 overall and 0-8 in Region 14. The two never faced each other this season, but they did face six common opponents, with the Patriots unable to win against any of them. Emery carried a record of 5-4.

The Lady Spartans will take on the Patriots Saturday in the Spartan Center. You can catch all the action live on KOAL 107.3 FM and 750 AM, or tune in to the video stream on our YouTube channel, Castle Country Radio – Emery.

The Landon’s Diesel Service Pregame show will begin at 12:30, and tipoff will follow at 1:00 p.m.

The Lady Dinos finished with a 9-14 record, went 3-5 in Region 13, and earned a third-place finish. Landing in the No. 10 spot means that they will be on the road to open post-season play, taking on the Grantsville Cowboys. Carbon and Grantsville never faced each other in the regular season, but faced four common opponents: Richfield, Ogden, Ben Lomond, and Emery. Both teams lost to the Spartans. The Dinos also lost to Richfield and Ogden, while the Cowboys collected wins. The Lady Dinos and Cowboys both earned wins against Ben Lomond.

Even though the contest will be on the road, Castle Country Radio will bring you live coverage of the game in Grantsville this Saturday, February 14. You can listen on KRPX 95.3 The Peak. You can also catch a live video stream on our YouTube Channel, Castle Country Radio-Carbon. The Landon’s Diesel Pregame Show will begin at 12:30, and the tip-off will follow at 1:00 p.m.
