Adding to the ever-growing world of salons in the Castle Country, Main Street Studio opened its door on Thursday, Feb. 12. The moment was capped off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony courtesy of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce.

“We do haircuts. We do extensions, perms, color highlights, and manicures and pedicures. We do gel manis and gel pedis. We also offer Tanning,” explained owner and operator Julie Adderly. “I’m located on 69 West Main, and my phone number is 637-4670. And I’m also on Facebook, which is under the Main Street Studio Full Service Salon.”

Speaking to Castle Country Radio, Adderly discussed the journey to prepare the salon for its grand opening: “I’ve been doing this for 37 years, so it’s been a long time, but um, now that I was a single mom, and now that the kids are grown, I was able to do this.”

She continued,” I had help with my boyfriend, Rick Ross, and we were able to do this. It’s been a journey, though, to redo everything.”

Adderly also shared what she believes makes Main Street Studio stand out among other salons,” We try to be the best at what we do. I want to be the best at haircuts and eyelash extensions. I want the girls who do the nails to be the best at what they do, and we want to welcome everybody. I mean, I’m not going to discriminate against anybody.”

Following her remarks, Adderley cut the ribbon, officially christening the business and adding it to the bustling business world of downtown Price.
