Hosting its first luncheon of the year, the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce welcomed members to Price Chapel on Thursday, Feb. 19. Amongst the networking and festivities, the chamber spotlighted local staples including Groggs, Everything Exterior and Carbon High’s Grad Spec.
Opening the affair, Chamber President Steve Swinburne announced that Groggs was unable to stay for the luncheon, but congratulated the business on recently reaching its 30th anniversary.
Moving along, Swinburne welcomed Stephen Vogel, owner/operator of Everything Exterior, to the stage.
Vogel, a former teacher at Mont Harmon Middle School, spoke to the culture he works to establish at the business. “The culture of Everything Exterior is our secret sauce. And so we place a huge emphasis on learning. The company is not just about cleaning windows and mowing lawns. We place a big emphasis on learning of all kinds.”
They accomplish this through ongoing training, as well as monthly ‘Appreciation Nights’ and offering certifications for each service they offer.
Offering a wide variety of services ranging from Christmas light installation to larger landscaping projects. Everything Exterior can be contacted by phone at 435-708-0679 or by email at price@everythingexterior.com. Additionally, the company can be found online at everythingexterior.com.
The final spotlight focused on Carbon High’s Grad Spec. Jared Haddock and Kara Thayn took the stage and explained the purpose of Grad Spec: “It was created for the purpose of helping to provide a safe alternative for kids on graduation. And the thing is, it is still run by volunteers.”
As such, the planning committee is seeking both donations and volunteers for the 2026 event. Interested parties can visit the following link.
“It’s been really a privilege to work with people in the community who want to help keep our kids safe,” expressed Thayn. “We’ve worked with organizations like USUE, the County Commissioners, the many businesses here that have donated, and the police officers, both from the Sheriff’s Office and the city force. It’s just a privilege to be able to work with the community to create a safe space for our kids.”
Castle Country Radio would like to congratulate all these businesses and organizations on their dedication to improving the Castle Country.
