Community members and business leaders gathered at the Carbon County Administration Building on Thursday, Feb. 26, to welcome Dixie’s IV and Wellness Hub to the Castle Country.
After 15 years in nursing, Dixie Melo found it was time to strike out on her own into the world of IV treatment. “IV is my specialty, I love doing it,” remarked Melo to Castle Country Radio.
Speaking at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Melo stated,” I offer mobile IV services, so your hydration, vitamins, if you have a migraine, I can come, help you that way.”
She continued,” The best part of it is it’s mobile. So I drive to you and come into your home and do it there.”
Melo explained how this works, sharing that she brings “two little suitcases,” an IV pole, and other equipment in her truck as she travels to the client. Melo also stated that this mobility is what sets her apart from other IV businesses.
Following her remarks, Melo snapped the scissors and cut the ribbon, officially christening the business.
Dixie’s IV and Wellness Hub can be contacted by phone at 435-630-8261. Additionally, Melo can be reached on Facebook.
