Contour Airlines has announced it will expand its flight schedule to the Canyonlands Regional Airport in Moab for the busy spring travel season.
The expansion will add 19 weekly flights to Moab, with seven from Phoenix and 12 from Denver. In a social media post from the airline, it states,” Travelers can also connect seamlessly to Moab through our interline partners Alaska, American, JetBlue, and United Airlines, with through-ticketing and baggage transferred directly to your final destination.”
Additionally, Contour seeks to add a second daily flight between Moab and Denver, citing rising bookings for the route. The Grand County Commission will review this proposal on Tuesday, March 17.
This expansion continues Contour’s trend of expanding services at the Canyonlands Regional Airport. In April of 2025, the airline began service from the Denver International Airport, with daily flights to Moab, Utah.
The partnership between Contour and Canyonlands Regional Airport is supported by the federal Alternative Essential Air Service program, which provides subsidies to help maintain commercial flights in rural communities.
These flights will utilize the airline’s 30-seat regional jets, featuring extra legroom, complimentary snacks and beverages, and a free checked bag and carry-on bag with every fare.
“We’re excited to expand our service in Moab and offer additional flights during the busy spring travel season,” said Ben Munson, President of Contour Airlines. “Moab continues to be a popular destination for travelers, and these additional flights will make it even easier for visitors from around the world to explore the region’s world-class outdoor recreation, including nearby Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park.”
