Congratulations to our “Heart of a Mustang” winner for third Term, Valeria Mortensen!

Valeria is a wonderful fifth grade student at Cleveland Elementary who truly makes our school a better place. She is kind to everyone she meets and goes out of her way to brighten people’s days. Each day, Valeria makes a special effort to give compliments to both students and teachers. She also greets people warmly, always making sure to address them by name, which helps everyone feel seen and appreciated.

​Valeria is also very brave and is becoming increasingly willing to try new things. Even when something feels challenging, she faces it with courage and a positive attitude. In the classroom, Valeria is a very hard worker. She never gives up and is always willing to put in the effort needed to learn and improve.

​Outside of her schoolwork, Valeria has many fun interests. She loves cats and unicorns, and she especially enjoys art projects that let her be creative. Valeria also likes playing soccer and spending time with her friends. She enjoys participating in Girl Scouts, singing, and even making up her own dances.

​Valeria’s kindness, determination, and positive spirit make her a joy to have at Cleveland Elementary. She truly helps make our school a happier and better place for everyone
