Emery High School senior Porter Sitterud earned a 3A All-State First Team selection for the 2025-26 basketball season following a vote from coaches in the classification. Fellow Spartan, sophomore Brek Griffin, earned Second Team honors as well as recognition for the 3A All-Tournament team.

Sitterud earned All-State First Team honors after leading the Spartans in scoring with 490 total points, averaging 19.6 per contest. He also shot 73% from the free-throw line throughout the season.

Playing in 25 out of 26 games as Emery’s only senior this season, Sitterud scored in double figures in all but one game. The high point came against American Heritage, where he scored 31. He also scored 30 twice this season against Union and Manti.

Griffin earned second-team honors as a sophomore with 15.6 per contest, leading the Spartans with a 47% shooting percentage. He also led Emery with 7.1 rebounds per game and a three-point percentage at 34%.

Griffin received honors for the 3A All-Tournament team, as he had his two highest point totals against Logan in the opening round where he scored 26, and then against Grantsville where he tallied 30.
