Utah State University Eastern news release
The Eastern Prehistoric Museum will host a public open house for the newly renovated Jamison Paleontology Lab from 4-7 p.m. March 26.
Though normally closed off to the public, this behind-the-scenes walk-through of our prep lab will allow visitors to get and up-close look at the enhancements to the space that have been accomplished over the past year.
Museum paleontologists and volunteers will be on hand to talk about the work that went into the renovation and show off some recently prepared fossils.
This renovation project was made possible by significant donations from Paul Jamison, Castle Gate Engineering, one anonymous donor, and many other generous private donations to an AggieFunded campaign through USU in 2024 and 2025.
The museum is free to the public during this event. The Prehistoric Museum is located at 155 E. Main Street in Price.
