Myra Yvonne O’Neil Ungerman, 77, of Price, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2024, with the love of her life by her side. Myra was born in Price, Utah on May 25, 1947, to Estella and Vaun O’Neil. She married Louis Ungerman in 1966, and they had 3 children.

Myra worked as a Registered Nurse, earned her Bachelors of Nursing degree, and became a Nurse Educator. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and reading.  Myra made over 100 personalized receiving blankets (with the child’s name and statistics stitched into the binding) for family and friends. On more than one occasion, she had to make emergency replacements for damaged blankets for the little ones as they were so beloved by the child.

She is survived by her husband Louis, son, Darin (Un Hee) Ungerman of San Antonio Texas; daughter, Rebecca Ungerman of Murray, Utah; daughter, Jennifer (Jesse) Bowman of Price, Utah; grandsons, Jeremy Ungerman of Michigan, Se Yong Chong & Se Yun Chong of San Antonio, Texas; and sister in-law, Shauna O’Neil of Salt Lake City, Utah; as well as her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, siblings, Ralph O’Neil and his wife Norma, Floyd O’Neil, Richard O’Neil and his wife Thora, and Vera Bruno and her husband Michael.

As per Myra’s wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends and family are welcome to share memories of Myra online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
