Carbon Dino wrestlers were back on the road on Wednesday this time in Roosevelt to face the Union Cougars. Coming off a win the night before in Salina against North Sevier, the Dinos took another team win, this time against the Union Cougars 48-32.

On Tuesday evening, Carbon was riding high after a win over North Sevier by the same score, 48-32. The Dinos are making their way toward the end of the season, which is fast approaching on January 31, when the divisional round of the state playoffs will begin.

Jantz Greenhalgh got it started once again at 106 pounds with a victory over the Cougars’ Trey Whiting. Up next was JJ Munoz, who took the victory at 113 pounds over Addison Hoover. Gage Lefler was a winner in his match at 120 pounds against Wyatt Olsen.

Koen Labrum earned the win at 132 pounds over Jayden Davidson, and Izzac McIntyre claimed victory at 138 pounds against Roemon Soznz. Jack Burdick won his match in the 144-pound weight class over Daxton Field.

In the 190-pound weight class, Andrew Kifer took the victory over Raymundo Olivas, and Jared Simmons claimed the win at 285 pounds by pinning Mason George.

The Dinos will have one more regular season meet on the road this Saturday in Orem when they will face Mountain View. After that, they will close out the season with three at home starting on January 21 when the Emery Spartans come to town.
