Our loving wife, mother and Nana, Carmel Garcia Gallegos, age 77, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home in Helper.
She was born September 7, 1947 in East Carbon, Utah to Thomas and Celina Ulibarri Garcia. Married John Albert Gallegos on October 7, 1967 in Elko, Nevada.
Mom’s hobbies included, sewing, working in her garden, refurbishing her antique furniture and shopping. She enjoyed sewing, especially the beautiful quilts she made for each of her grandchildren.
