Carbon High School boy's basketball coach Taylor Brower was a guest on KOAL's Drive Time Sports, recapping his first season as head coach of the Dinos. Carbon wrapped up the season with a 5-19 record, falling in the opening round to Richfield Wildcats, who advanced to the 3A state championship game.

10-27-23 CJ Smuin Hitting Camp and Memorial Foundation

Pat Smuin and Zac Jones joined KOAL's Drive Time Sports Friday afternoon to talk about the CJ Smuin Hitting Camp, which will make its return to Carbon County on January 26 and 27.

The mission of the CJ Smuin Memorial Foundation is to bring about positive change in the lives of young people regarding suicide prevention, awareness.  The foundation hosts camps, guest speakers, and other events focused around suicide prevention and awareness, support other organizations with similar goals, and through the CJ Smuin Memorial Baseball Scholarship.

Registration for the camp is open now until Nov. 15 and tickets to the dinner banquet will be available through December 15.
