Carbon High School boy's basketball coach Taylor Brower was a guest on KOAL's Drive Time Sports, recapping his first season as head coach of the Dinos. Carbon wrapped up the season with a 5-19 record, falling in the opening round to Richfield Wildcats, who advanced to the 3A state championship game.
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, Dr. Christy Kane will host a free community event at the Emery High School Auditorium, geared towards Mental Health. All who attend will get a free pass to the Carbon-Emery boy's basketball on Friday, Jan. 31. Canyon View Principal Jenny Gagon brought in multiple guests to talk about the event on KOAL's Drive Time Sports.
Tuesday on KOAL's Drive Time Sports, Carbon High School head wrestling coach Trent Greenhalgh joined to talk about the team's performance at Divisionals in Richfield.
Wednesday's Drive Time Sports featured former MLB pitcher Bill Laskey as he joined a conversation about all things baseball including the Dodgers-Astros, Joe Kelly, the struggles of the Nationals, the excitement of the Padres and the Miami Marlins. Also, the Utah Jazz return to KOAL on Thursday.
