Lucille Anderson Erickson, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born in Price, Utah on July 5, 1938 to LaVon J. and Georgia Prichard Anderson.
Lucille graduated from Carbon High in 1955 and married her lifelong sweetheart, Erick Erickson, Jr. on June 1, 1955 in the Manti Temple and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and devotion. They were blessed with four children, three sons and one daughter, who brought joy and meaning to their lives.
Lucille’s passion for caring for others led her to a career in healthcare. In 1965, she began working as a nurse’s aide at Carbon Hospital, later earning her LPN from CEU in 1981. She continued to serve her community at Castleview Hospital until she retired, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication to patient care.
She had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone who knew her. Her love for animals was unmatched, but above all, her greatest joy was found in her family. Lucille lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to those around her.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband, Erick; daughter, Gaylene Arensdorf; daughter-in-law, LuAnna Erickson; nine cherished grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her three sons, Don, Terry, and Rick; as well as her brother, Guy Anderson.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared and the kindness she embodied will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Gaylene, LuAnna, and Symbii Home Health for their loving care of Lucille and to Mitchell Funeral Home for their care and compassion.
