It was a jubilant occasion on Saturday, June 14, as the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce celebrated Nine Mile RV Resort with a ribbon-cutting.

“Nine Mile RV Resort is in Wellington, Utah. We’re in the Carbon Corridor halfway between Salt Lake City and Moab,” said McKay Quinn, representing the resort. “ We built this here intentionally because we’re right on Highway 6 with easy access to the highway.”

In addition to those stopping for just a night, the park has options for those seeking a more long-term getaway. “We offer long-term guests, so you can stay monthly and live here.”

“Nine Mile RV Resort was born out of a simple idea: to offer travelers a place to rest and refuel before they venture into the endless beauty and solitude of the Utah desert,” expresses the business’s website. “We’re the last stop for miles, the final oasis before you head into the vast, wide-open spaces where rugged terrain and sweeping canyons unfold in every direction.”

“If you want nice amenities like a swimming pool, on-site laundry or an on-site taco truck, we’re the place for you,” stated Quinn. “We are excited to be here for both nightly and monthly guests.” Other amenities at the park include a convenience store, firepits and reservable pavilions.

Quinn then sliced the ribbon, officially welcoming the resort to the area.

Reservations for the Nine Mile RV Resort can be made by phone at 801-895-2314 or online at ninemilervresort.com.
