When the list was released on Monday morning, three Emery Spartan sluggers were given All-State nods. Hayden Sitterud and Beau Stilson each earned first-team nods, while Tyce Larsen received an Honorable Mention.

The Spartans finished the season with a 12-19 overall mark, earning them the No. 12 spot in the final RPI. They traveled to Manti to open the postseason, taking wins in the first two games of a best-of-three series to advance. In the next round, they would face the No. 4 Morgan Trojans, taking a 10-3 win to move on and face the No. 1 team in 3A and fellow region member Canyon View, suffering their first loss, 13-1, and falling into the one-loss bracket to face the Trojans once again, this time the contest was a little closer but the Spartans came out on top 7-5, putting Emery back in the upper part of the bracket to face Canyon View once again with a berth in the State Championship going to the winner. The two teams battled, but Canyon View came out on top to take the 2-0 win and would eventually go on to win the State Title.

Coaches across the state vote on the players, and the list of the top players in each classification is compiled every year.

Sitterud, a senior, had an outstanding final season for the Spartans. Carrying a .305 batting average, with 31 hits, and 21 RBIs, including seven doubles, four triples, and three home runs. He sported a 2.68 earned run average on the mound, going 4-2 in ten appearances, striking out 50 batters. In one of his best performances of the season against Morgan in the playoffs, he went 2-3, including a home run, and collected three RBIs in the 10-3 win.  Sitterud also received a second-team All-State nod for his work on the football field.

Stilson, a junior, was an offensive force for Emery, with a .384 batting average, 39 hits, 26 runs, 19 RBIs, six triples, and three doubles. Stilson came up big for the Spartans in the opening game of the State Playoffs on the road in Manti, going 3-4 and collecting a pair of RBIs in the 8-0 victory.

Also, as a junior, Larsen finished the season with a .370 batting average, 34 hits, 18 RBIs, and eight runs scored. Larsen’s biggest day of the 2025 season came on April 2 against the Judge Memorial Bulldogs as he went 4-4 at the plate with three RBIs and scored one run in the 17-1 rout.

Austin Park of Juab was named the 3A Player of the Year, and Trenton Ludlow of Canyon View got the nod as the 3A Playoff MVP.

Congratulations to those who earned All-State Honors for their work in the 2025 season.
