Emery High School baseball manager Chase Julian was a guest on KOAL's Drive Time Sports to recap the 2025 season. Entering the 3A State Tournament as the No. 12 seed, the Spartans pulled a two-game sweep over No. 5 Mant in Super Regionals. One day after winning his third consecutive State Championship on the wrestling mat, Emery High School senior Hayes Dalton joined KOAL's Drive Time Sports. During his time on the show Dalton talked about his incredible senior campaign as he worked back from a knee injury early in the football season to claim win the State Championship Thursday afternoon.
Former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer joined Jordan Buscarini on KOAL's Drive Time Sports Friday afternoon. During his time on the show, Kramer talked about being a replacement player, leading the Detroit Lions to a playoff win, finishing his career, surviving a suicide attempt and conquering depression. Kramer's story is told in his new book "The Ultimate Comeback".
