Emery Lady Spartan soccer has had an impressive start to its season, logging four wins already, and getting ready to jump into region play. On Friday, they traveled to Millard to face the Eagles. It was a hard-fought battle, going into an overtime period with the Lady Spartans taking a 1-0 loss. 

The Lady Spartans have earned wins this season over Enterprise, San Juan, Juab, and Utah Military Academy Hill Field, and hold a 4-2 mark overall as they prepare for Region 13 play starting on September 4, when they square off with Carbon in Price. 

The contest itself was a scoreless battle through two halves at the end of regulation. In the first overtime period, Millard scored once, giving them the win. 

Emery will get back to the Pitch on Monday when Parowan comes to Castle Dale at 4:00 p.m.. 

They will end their week on Tuesday when they travel to face Grand.
