DeAnne L. Rice, a special daughter and friend, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025 at Good Life Senior Care Center in Elmo, Utah

Dee was born on October 1, 1943, in Grand Junction, Colorado to DeLong and Ida Marie Cesario Rice. Dee was employed with Carbon School District first as a grandparent volunteer then later as a preschool aide. She never had children or grandchildren but was called Grandma Dee by all the kids at school. She liked to draw, read, listen to music, and do puzzles. She took care of her sister Virginia for many years.

She is survived by her special friends, Jeff and Ricki Palmer; and the staff and residents at Good Life Senior Care; and friends from Bruin Point Elementary.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Bonnie and Virginia.

Graveside service, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Price City Cemetery.
