The Lady Dino volleyball team welcomed the Duchesne Eagles to “Jurassic Park” on Tuesday night, and after coming up short in the second set, Carbon took over the match to earn a 3-1 win and move to 3-4 this season.

Carbon has had a rough go of it lately as they entered the contest on a four-game skid. The Dinos last win was on August 14 when they beat Juan Diego in Price.

In the first set, the Lady Dinos were able to edge the Eagles 25-22. In set number two, Duchesne came out looking for a win and found it 25-17.

The Lady Dinos came back in the third looking to get back in the win column, taking a 25-18 victory, and then claimed a 25-23 win in the fourth and final set as Carbon collected the 3-1 victory.

Carbon will be back on the road on Thursday to take on Draper APA.
