The Utah State Eastern Eagles traveled to Ephraim, Utah, to take on the No. 19 Snow College Badgers in their 2025 Scenic West Athletic Conference opener.

Snow College opened scoring with a goal in the 14th minute, which gave the Badgers a 1-0 lead early in the first half.

Shortly after the first goal, the game turned physical, including 24 total fouls (15 for Eastern) and 10 cards shown (eight for Eastern). The Eagles had to play the majority of the match down two players, thanks to two red cards, giving Snow College a clear advantage.

Despite late pushes to tie the match, the Eagles were unable to generate many attempts on goal, resulting in a 1-0 loss to open conference play.

The Eagles will next return home to face the Salt Lake Community College Bruins in a conference matchup. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the Castleview Hospital Soccer Field.
