
Karolyn Kaye Jeffs-Hall, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, peacefully passed on to her heavenly home and family on September 5, 2025, at The Cottages of Lochsa Falls, Meridian, ID. She was born on May 2, 1946, in Price, Utah; the daughter of Clive L. Jeffs and Katie Belle (Sitterud) Johnson.
Karolyn was a servant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Meridian 3rd Ward, where she spent many years leading music and serving as choir director. She had an unwavering love of her Lord and Savior and dedicated many years serving in both the Boise and Meridian Temples.
Karolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Clive Garth Jeffs and Larry Johnson. She is survived by her two daughters, Richele Rapp and Kathryn Slade; six grandchildren, Jesse, DevRee, and Kaydree Rapp and Dallin, Austin, and Kollin Slade; and three great-grandchildren.
Karolyn had a profound career as a civilian with the United States Air Force, retiring after 30 years of service with the Air Force Space Command in Colorado Springs, CO. She was presented many awards over the course of her career but was most known for her servant leadership, compassionate heart, and bribery with baked goods!
Karolyn’s family will remember her for her unconditional support, love, and encouragement. Her ability to bring joy and laughter into any situation made her a beacon of light for her loved ones and friends. Karolyn touched the lives of all who knew her and will live on in the hearts of many.
As we say goodbye to Karolyn, let us cherish the wonderful memories and the profound impact she had on all our lives. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who lived life to the fullest and inspired those around her to do the same.
Funeral Service, Friday, September 12, 2025, 3:00 p.m., Huntington Stake Center (240 North Main Street) in Huntington. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Huntington City Cemetery.
